Nations come together!
It has amazed me to see so many nations come together this week! We happen to be here for the "Nations2Nations" conference. And it focuses on equipping and encouraging missionaries from different nations to go to other nations! Before it was from Western countries to the rest of the world, but now more people is going out into the field from the countries who used to received the missionaries! We joined with people from many countries! Thailand, Philippines, Cambodia, Samoa, Nigeria, India, Brasil, New Zealand, Australia and many more....27 in total! who are here in Battambang Cambodia, to serve, to love, to educate, to empower the generation of Cambodian's, for them to go out into South East Asia! It has been an honor to see their love, their commitment. And the speakers have been speaking about restoring the countries dignity and identity. When God restores our identity a lot of things fall into place. And one of the pastors from Africa, who comes from a
very small village, was encouraging us saying that God doesn't look at our resources (or lack of them) or at our gifts, but He looks beyond that, and that our obedience stirs His heart, when we say yes to His dreams, and we are willing to reach out our hand and walk towards what He has prepared for us! Just like when Abraham was asking God for a son, and God promised He will be the Father of many! Abraham couldn't see it, he asked for one thing, God looked beyond that and wanted to give Him so much more. God wants to mark us with His life, and and following Jesus won't be a sacrifice but a privilege! During community night, the speaker was talking about us in our Christian walk, how God has promised in Isaiah that if we wait on Him we would be like eagles and how many times we are happy by being chickens. Missing out so much, without a bigger visión, a bigger picture! We were created to have a close loving relationship with Jesus and to fly like eagles! so the choice is ours, are we going to be chickens or eagles?
It is time to realize how missions have changed, how Jesus said "I have been given all authority, therefore GO and make disciples of all nations" and that includes all of us, from every country, every tribe, every tongue and language. And how encouraging it has been to see many brothers and sisters from developing countries, stepping out in faith
into the plans and dreams of our Father God. We are all searching for what is on God's heart and we want to be brave and go do what He has called us to be and do! No matter our background, no matter how hard it seems. We don't want to miss out on the great things God is doing, and we want to say yes to Him and go with Him to the ends of the earth for love, because we love Jesus and His love is in us. I had the blessing to pray with two ladies from an Asian country, and as I was praying all three of us started to cry. We were praying for God to encourage them, to provide for them, for fear and doubts to be gone, for them to believe in the one who Has called us and in His faithfulness. We all are in the same walk, and we are there to pray for one another and encourage each other and cheer us on as we walk. That is what the body of Christ is all about! I wiped their tears and they wiped mine! It was an awesome time! Hope you are encouraged to read how the Lord is moving, and raising up new brave hearts that are saying yes to Him and stepping out into this world to bring His kingdom here on earth.
It's been a joy to see our peruvian flag among the countries who are here. Peru has many believer's who are eager to answer to God's invitation to join Him in the nations, would you say Yes?
May God bless you!
