Let's go on Outreach!

June 2022 Update

We are so happy to share with you great news.

Last week Maria Claudia's visa for the US was approved! After waiting a year it has been approved! Praise the Lord! Thank you for praying with us and for us.

That means, we can travel and go on outreach!

Brett Curtis, Ywam Ships Kona director is planning a 2 week trip to Papua New Guinea. They will go with Joe, the DPA (Designated Person Ashore of the m/v Ywam Liberty) to check on some things on board as the ship gets ready for Dry dock. Conrad, Ships Operations Director, will also be going. Brett has asked Luis to join them.

Luis will be working on:

- some work with tiles - Find supplies locally (know the real budget) to fix the communal areas and get ready for deployment! - Find EPP supplier - do the measures in Madang Port and design accurate plans on a warehouse in preparation for the arrival of the ship. - Encourage the crew on board. Most of them were on board when Luis and I were on board in 2018 in Buka, PNG. Additionally, Luis is planning to stay behind and do a dental outreach in Madang before flying back to the US. Keep him in your prayers!

Maria Claudia and I would love to come. I would love to go and see the nurses staff Cintia and Lianna who will be running the rest of the medical outreaches this year in Madang. It's hard to lead a Department from afar. I would love to spend some time with them, do some training for upcoming mobile dental clinics, encouragement and member care. Maclau is on summer break, and she can come with us!

Did you know Madang only has 1 dental therapist to attend the region? Luis and I would love to be part of the 6th outreach and provide dental services to the nearby islands and villages. We are still needing $2000 for plane tickets if Maclau and I were to join Luis in the trip to Papua New Guinea and outreach in Madang.

This is such a great time for us to go on outreach as a family. We are praying and planning to be there from July 22 to August 22. Please join us in prayer for the Lord to guide and provide.
